Elections

This past Sunday the people of Honduras voted in the general elections. Since then, the counting of votes has been very slow, and the two main opposing candidates for president have both claimed victory with a lot of confidence and passion. Please pray that the process of determining the actual winner of the presidential election will be peaceful, transparent, and that the final result will be accepted by the society at large. The final votes are supposed to be counted early Thursday morning. There have been plenty of marches this week, and it is almost certain that there will be more. There is a lot of misinformation circulating, and plenty of accusations of fraud. So, we appreciate your prayers for peace and unity in Honduras.
